President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of former Edo State lawmaker, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, as the Executive Director, Strategy and Commercial, of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), Chris Osa Media reports.
Obahiagbon takes over from Engineer Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, who stepped down from the role to focus on his political ambition in Edo State.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Obahiagbon, a former member of the House of Representatives and an accomplished lawyer, is expected to bring his wealth of experience in public service and governance to his new role at the NDPHC, where he will oversee the company’s strategy and commercial operations.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
