The Bauchi State Government, through the Ministry of Livestock Development, has inaugurated a mobile court to prosecute individuals who violate the state’s law prohibiting farming within a 45-metre setback from the centre of major highways on both sides of the road.
The initiative is aimed at enforcing compliance with the law, protecting government road corridors, enhancing public safety, and promoting orderly land use across the state.
