Hon. Bidemi Joshua Obayangban, Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Forestry, has congratulated Dr. Eddy Eniola Olafeso as he marks his 70th birthday.
Obayangban, who is also aspiring to represent Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general election, described Dr. Olafeso as a man of honour, learning and deep commitment to society whose life story continues to inspire many across Ondo State and beyond.
He noted that Dr. Olafeso’s record as a first-class graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University and his rise to earn a PhD show his strong belief in education and hard work. According to him, the celebrant’s academic excellence and achievements in public life have made him a role model to many young people.
Obayangban also highlighted Dr. Olafeso’s service as former Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Mobilisation in Ondo State and his leadership roles in party politics, saying his calm and mature approach to issues has earned him respect across political lines.
He further praised Dr. Olafeso’s contributions to community development and his commitment to justice and fairness, describing him as a leader who always puts the people first.
Obayangban prayed that God would grant him long life, sound health and more strength to continue to impact lives.
“As you celebrate 70 years of a life filled with knowledge, service and honour, I wish you greater peace, joy and fulfilment. Happy 70th Birthday, Dr. Eddy Olafeso”, he said in a statement made available to Starnews NG on Wednesday evening.
