Iranian Figure Pahlavi Urges Full Dismantling of Iran’s Islamic Republic at CPAC 2026

By Paul Joseph

Exiled Iranian figure Reza Pahlavi has called for the complete dismantling of the Islamic Republic of Iran, warning that preserving any part of the existing structure could pose a significant threat to global stability.

Pahlavi made the remarks during his address at the Conservative Political Action Conference 2026 held in Texas, United States Saturday, where he delivered a strong critique of Iran’s leadership and dismissed the possibility of meaningful reform within the current system.

According to him, Iranian authorities cannot be trusted in negotiations, describing them as “crisis producers” rather than credible partners for peace. He argued that any attempt to reform or partially preserve the system would be dangerous, insisting that only a complete overhaul can guarantee long-term stability both within Iran and internationally.

Pahlavi further accused the leadership of consistently fueling tensions rather than resolving them, adding that expectations for the current government to deliver peace are unrealistic.

His remarks come amid heightened global tensions involving Iran, as policymakers continue to debate the most effective response to the country’s actions and its role in regional and global security.
