Nigerian social media personality Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has sparked reactions online after jokingly questioning what would happen to his physical appearance if he became a born-again Christian.
Bobrisky made the remarks on an Instagram post reflecting on the Christian transformation of his close friend, actress Tonto Dikeh.
The social media personality said watching Dikeh’s spiritual journey had given him a sense of peace and made him consider becoming born again.
“In all honesty, I want to become born again because watching my friend has been giving me so much peace,” Bobrisky wrote.
He then turned the serious reflection into humour by asking what would happen to his breasts and his “big bumbum” if he embraced the new lifestyle.
He also jokingly referred to his physical transformation, asking where he would even begin if he decided to change his lifestyle.
The post came shortly after Dikeh celebrated Bobrisky’s birthday with a public tribute and a reported ₦2 million cash gift.
Bobrisky’s comments have since generated reactions online, particularly because of the contrast between his humorous concerns about his appearance and his expressed interest in Christianity.
The remarks also highlight the influence of personal relationships and religious transformation, with Bobrisky crediting Dikeh’s journey as part of what prompted his own reflection about faith.
