Popular Nigerian content creator and comedian Carter Efe has raised alarm over the alleged non-payment of his ₦50 million prize money following his victory over singer Portable in a celebrity boxing bout.

The highly publicised match, which generated significant buzz online, ended with Carter Efe emerging winner after an intense contest in the ring.

The event had been widely promoted with a ₦50 million cash reward for the victor.

However, days after the fight, Carter Efe claims he has yet to receive the promised payment.

In a video circulating on social media, the entertainer expressed frustration, saying he risked his life during the bout but has not been compensated.

“I never see ₦50 million. I nearly died for that fight… make dem pay me,” he said.

The situation has sparked debate online, especially following claims by Portable after his defeat.

The singer alleged that the outcome of the fight may have been predetermined, suggesting the match could have been staged to avoid large betting payouts reportedly placed on him.

Despite the growing controversy, organisers of the event have yet to issue an official statement addressing the delay in payment or the allegations surrounding the fight.
