Veteran Nollywood actor Osita Iheme, popularly known as Pawpaw, has said he has no plans to get married.

The 43-year-old actor made the disclosure during an interview with Naija FM while speaking about his personal life and priorities.

Iheme said he is comfortable with his present circumstances and would rather devote his attention to enjoying life and supporting members of his family.

In his words, “I’m already 43, I have no plans of getting married. I just want to live my life and help those closer to me. My brothers and sisters have children, whom I consider mine.”

The actor’s comment indicates that he does not see marriage as something he needs to pursue at this stage of his life.

Instead, he said his siblings’ children have become an important part of his family life, with the actor regarding them as his own.

Iheme rose to prominence in Nollywood after starring alongside Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, in the 2002 comedy film Aki na Ukwa.

Their performances in the film established the duo as one of the most recognisable comic partnerships in Nigerian cinema, with Iheme becoming widely known by his Pawpaw nickname.
