Controversial Nigerian entertainer Speed Darlington has stirred reactions online after revealing that he is willing to pay ₦5 million to any woman ready to have a child for him, insisting that he has no interest in marriage.
The singer made the statement while discussing his ongoing search for a suitable baby mama, explaining that he had previously offered ₦3 million about two years ago but was dissatisfied with the people he met at the time.
“I was offering ₦3 million two years ago, but I didn’t like the age range of the people I met,” he said.
“Now, I’m willing to pay ₦5 million to any lady willing to have a child for me. I don’t want marriage. However, you can always come and see the child anytime you want.”
Speed Darlington added that he prefers a woman between the ages of 20 and 24 and specifically mentioned that he is looking for someone who is financially struggling rather than from a wealthy background.
The remarks have generated widespread reactions across social media, with many Nigerians debating his unconventional approach to parenthood and relationships.
