Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has been summoned by the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja following a crisis that recently rocked the party, resulting in the tragic loss of three lives. The unrest also left many party leaders injured and caused significant damage to vehicles and property.
In response to the invitation from the party leadership, Governor Aiyedatiwa arrived in Abuja yesterday (Thursday). As of the time of writing this report, he remains in the Federal capital to answer questions and brief the party leadership on the situation in Ondo State.
The APC congress crisis has raised concerns within the party and among constituents, prompting the need for a thorough investigation and resolution. The governor’s engagement with party leaders is anticipated to address the recent events and restore order within the party ranks.
