- Senator Faduyile, Party Chieftains Back Initiative
AKURE – A prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ondo State, Erelu (Princess) Bukky Abike Oluderu, has officially launched the Bola Ahmed Tinubu & Kashim Shettima Movement (BAT-KSM Movement) to spearhead grassroots mobilization for the presidency’s 2027 re-election bid.
Starnews NG reports that the strategic political movement was unveiled on Monday during a double-celebration event at the Saint Jacob Hotel in Akure, which also marked Erelu Oluderu’s birthday.
The event was chaired by Distinguished Senator (Prof.) Dayo Faduyile, OON, who was ably represented by Princess Oluyemisi Fayemi.
In his address, Faduyile strongly backed the initiative, describing the movement as a timely and strategic vehicle born out of conviction and gratitude for the bold reforms being executed by President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima.
He said, “This Movement, under the leadership of Erelu Oluderu, will be the vehicle that will sustain the political consciousness of our people,” Faduyile stated, pledging his full support.
He urged the movement’s leaders to remain disciplined and focused on mobilizing rather than antagonizing.
The executive Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, was ably represented at the historic launch by his Senior Special Assistant (SSA), Barr. Olatunji Olafeyide. The high-profile gathering also featured prominent APC elder statesman and President of the Liberal Platform in Ondo State, Chief Demola Ijabiyi, alongside a large turnout of traditional rulers, party chieftains, political associates, family, and friends, Starnews NG reports.
