Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has ordered the immediate removal of the Commissioner for Works, Stanley Mbam, from office.
The directive was contained in a statement issued on Saturday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, and made available to journalists in Abakaliki.
Governor Nwifuru also directed Mbam to hand over all government property in his possession, including his official vehicle, to the Secretary to the State Government.
He was further instructed to transfer the responsibilities of the Works Ministry to the Permanent Secretary pending further directives from the state government.
The governor assured residents that his administration remains committed to effective governance and the improvement of public infrastructure across Ebonyi State.
