Former Nollywood actress and the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Abia State election, Doris Ogala, has confidently declared that she will emerge as the state’s next governor, insisting that her victory is certain. The statement, made during a live TikTok session, has generated widespread reactions across social media and political circles.
In the viral video, Ogala told viewers that Abia residents “have no choice” but to accept her as governor, adding that her ambition was divinely ordained.
She said, “I, Doris Ogala, as your governor, you don’t have choice. God has said it, so shall it be,” expressing confidence in her chances ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Ogala, who recently emerged as the AAC’s governorship candidate, has pledged to challenge the incumbent administration on issues of governance, development, and public service delivery.
While she is yet to unveil a comprehensive campaign manifesto, her declaration has intensified political discussions as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
Political observers say the actress-turned-politician’s remarks reflect growing confidence among emerging political figures seeking elective office.
However, they note that the outcome of the election will ultimately be determined by the electorate through the democratic process when Abia voters head to the polls in 2027.
