Don’t join upcoming nationwide protest, Afenifere advises Nigerians

The Afenifere, a pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, has advised Nigerians and Yorubas against joining the upcoming nationwide protests amidst ongoing economic challenges.

Reuben Fasorantj, Chairman of the Afenifere Elders Caucus, emphasized this stance in a statement, urging citizens to show understanding towards Tinubu’s government.

The Nigeria Labour Congress announced plans for a two-day strike on February 27 and 28 to highlight the economic difficulties confronting Nigerians.

Fasoranti then noted that the economic measures by the federal government are aimed at bringing prosperity to the country.
