The Ondo State Police Command has praised the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his support in providing an enabling environment for the smooth conduct of the ongoing 2025/2026 Nigeria Police Force recruitment screening exercise.
The commendation was given by the Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Command, CP Adebowale Lawal, psc+, mnips, during an on-the-spot assessment of the screening exercise held at the Command Headquarters, Alagbaka, Akure.
CP Lawal monitored key stages of the exercise, including document verification, physical screening, and credential checks, expressing satisfaction with the level of orderliness, transparency, and professionalism demonstrated throughout the process.
He commended officers of the Command, officials of the Police Service Commission, and the Federal Character Commission for their strict adherence to laid-down procedures and operational guidelines, noting that the exercise reflects the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to strengthening integrity in recruitment.
The Commissioner also appreciated the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, for his continued drive toward building a more professional, disciplined, and citizen-focused police institution.
He urged all stakeholders to sustain the current standard of discipline and ensure strict compliance with established procedures, stressing the importance of orderliness at every stage of the screening process.
CP Lawal further reiterated that the recruitment exercise is completely free of charge and cautioned applicants against offering or accepting any form of financial inducement or engaging in misconduct.
Reaffirming the Command’s commitment to fairness and credibility, he assured that all necessary measures have been put in place to guarantee a transparent, merit-based, and hitch-free recruitment exercise across the state.
