Businessman Olakunle Churchill has written a message to his former wife, actress Tonto Dikeh, acknowledging her personal growth and how their long-running marital dispute has now been settled.
Churchill shared the message on his official Instagram page on Sunday, after Dikeh made a post on Saturday reflecting on their marriage crisis and the feud between them.
He also thanked God for the opportunity to receive a phone call from their son, Andre, for the first time.
He said he was surprised and deeply touched when his son, King Andre, called him and referred to him as “Daddy”, describing the moment as emotional and a clear reminder of the power of faith.
Churchill stated that faith brings clarity, humility and peace, adding that he recognised the growth and grace shown in the way the issue between him and his ex-wife was resolved.
He said the conflict between them is now in the past and that they are ready to move forward as co-parents, with full attention on raising their son, while appreciating Dikeh for being a good mother.
Churchill noted that forgiveness has opened a new chapter in their lives, saying they are now moving forward with peace, mutual respect and understanding, guided by God.
He expressed gratitude for the journey they have both taken, the growth achieved, and his renewed relationship with his son, while thanking Tonto Dikeh for doing a good job as the mother of his child.
Earlier, Punch Online reported that Tonto Dikeh reflected on her marriage to Churchill ten years after their separation and confirmed that the long-standing feud between them had come to an end.
