The Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State on Forestry, Hon. Bidemi Joshua Obayangban, has sent Christmas greetings to Christians in the state and members of the public, urging them to embrace peace, unity and selfless service.
In a goodwill message to mark the Christmas celebration, Obayangban said the birth of Jesus Christ offers renewed hope and serves as a reminder of core values such as love, compassion, unity and service to humanity.
He noted that the season provides an opportunity for reflection and collective commitment to building a better society, stressing that peace and harmony remain essential for sustainable progress.
The governor’s aide expressed gratitude to the people of Ondo State, particularly residents of the Southern Senatorial District, for their support and cooperation, which he said have contributed to the developmental strides of the state government.
According to him, the achievements recorded so far are products of the collective goodwill of the people and the purposeful leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
Obayangban reaffirmed the commitment of the administration to sustainable development, environmental protection and inclusive governance, assuring that such policies would continue to benefit all residents of the state.
He added that the joy of Christmas should further strengthen the resolve of the people to work together in peace as the state looks forward to greater prosperity and progress in the coming year.
He wished Christians a Merry Christmas and expressed hope for a prosperous New Year for Ondo State and the nation.
