BREAKING: US F-15E Ejection Seat Reportedly Found in Iran; Pilot Status Unknown

An advanced ACES II ejection seat from a US Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle has reportedly been discovered in southern Iran, raising urgent questions about the fate of the aircraft’s crew.

The high-tech seat, standard on the twin-seat Strike Eagle, indicates that at least one crew member ejected during a mission. The current status of the pilot and weapons systems officer remains unconfirmed.

Unverified reports suggest one or both may be in the custody of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The discovery comes amid ongoing US strikes on Iranian targets. Tehran has reportedly offered rewards to civilians who assist in capturing an American airman, heightening the risk of a potential hostage situation.

In response, US forces have launched combat search and rescue operations inside Iranian territory.

Low-flying aircraft and helicopters have been observed in the area, though Central Command (CENTCOM) has not commented directly on the incident. Recent weeks have seen similar claims denied by US officials.

The situation underscores the high stakes for American pilots operating in hostile airspace. Experts warn that a downed aircraft over enemy soil not only endangers personnel but also provides Tehran with a propaganda tool and potential bargaining leverage.

Efforts are reportedly underway to recover the aircrew safely while maintaining readiness for any escalation.
