Nigerian social media personality Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has reportedly lost her second son, Bryan, while she remains in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos.
The heartbreaking development was announced on Friday, September 25, 2026, by Amira Agiye, Chief Executive Officer of the Isaamira Love Foundation, who appealed to Nigerians to support Blessing CEO as she battles the loss while still behind bars.
Blessing CEO reportedly confirmed the death in an audio recording played by Agiye.
“My second son, Bryan, was full of life. While in custody, I lost Bryan,” she said, expressing hope that she would be released so she could return home, pick up the pieces and pay her last respects to her son.
The death comes as Blessing CEO continues to face legal proceedings over separate allegations. She was remanded in Kirikiri after being arraigned in connection with an alleged ₦69.15 million property fraud case, and reports say she was later granted ₦20 million bail but has remained in custody after failing to satisfy the conditions.
Agiye said Blessing CEO needs ₦20 million to meet her bail conditions and another ₦36 million to settle debts allegedly owed to individuals connected to the case, putting the requested financial assistance at ₦56 million.
She appealed to Nigerians to show compassion, arguing that whatever their opinions about Blessing CEO or her legal troubles, the death of her son was a deeply personal tragedy.
The circumstances surrounding Bryan’s death have not been publicly established in the reports reviewed.
For Blessing CEO, the legal battle has now been overshadowed by a devastating personal loss, as she remains separated from her family at a moment when she is mourning the death of her child.
