A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Biyi Orilabawaye, has commended the Chief Executive Officer of Starnews NG, Olumide Akinrinlola, for his steadfast commitment to developmental journalism and his sustained advocacy for societal progress.
Orilabawaye made the remarks while extending warm birthday greetings to the pastor and journalist, acknowledging his significant contributions to journalism and public discourse.
In a goodwill message issued from Canada, the APC stalwart praised Akinrinlola for remaining a consistent voice in promoting accountability and good governance through responsible and people-oriented reporting.
He also recalled Akinrinlola’s courageous role in the “Bring Back Our Light” campaign, describing it as a defining effort that highlighted his dedication to public interest, journalism and civic engagement.
The party chieftain further lauded the media executive’s recent coverage of government activities across Ondo State, particularly his detailed reporting on projects in various local government areas and efforts to track their implementation stages.
He noted that such initiatives have played a vital role in enhancing transparency and keeping citizens informed about governance at the grassroots level.
Orilabawaye concluded by praying for God’s continued guidance, strength, and protection for Akinrinlola, wishing him many more years of impactful service and personal fulfillment.
