Nigerian Afropop star Ayra Starr has said that Nigerian men share similar qualities with men in New York City, describing both as caring, supportive, and confident in relationships.
The singer made the remark during a recent podcast appearance where she spoke about her experiences and observations about men from different parts of the world.
According to her, Nigerian men are known for taking care of the women in their lives and often show strong support for their partners.
Ayra Starr noted that confidence is another key trait shared by Nigerian men and men in New York, explaining that both groups tend to carry themselves with strong self-assurance.
While acknowledging that cultural differences may exist, the music star said certain behaviours among men appear to be universal.
She added that regardless of location, men often display similar attitudes in relationships, stressing that “a man is a man” anywhere in the world.
