Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, alongside former Attorney-General of the Federation Abubakar Malami and other dignitaries, on Saturday paid a condolence visit to former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai following the death of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.
Hajiya Umma El-Rufai passed away earlier in Cairo, Egypt.
The high-profile visit drew prominent figures who gathered to sympathise with the former governor and his family during the period of mourning.
Prayers were offered for the repose of the deceased, with attendees asking Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus.
The condolence visit underscores the outpouring of support and solidarity extended to El-Rufai from political associates and well-wishers across the country.
