Arsenal midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly has signed a new long-term contract with the club after an impressive 2024/25 season that saw him break into the first team.
The 18-year-old, who joined Arsenal’s Hale End academy at age eight, made 39 appearances across all competitions this season. He debuted in a Premier League match against Manchester City and started his first game in a Carabao Cup victory over Bolton Wanderers.
Lewis-Skelly made headlines as the youngest Arsenal player to start a UEFA Champions League match since 2011 and later scored his first Premier League goal — again against Manchester City. He also contributed assists in Champions League knockout ties against PSV and Real Madrid.
On the international scene, he earned a call-up to the senior England squad in March and scored on his debut during a World Cup qualifier against Albania.
Speaking after the contract signing, Lewis-Skelly said, “I’m so proud and happy. I want a legacy. I want to win everything there is to win in the game.”
The deal remains subject to regulatory approval.
