While some desperate politicians are losing sleep and throwing tantrums on Facebook because they didn’t get endorsement tickets, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is busy saving lives. Through the Hospital Management Board (HMB), a massive Festival of Surgeries is ongoing right now in Ondo North.
This initiative is providing free health relief to thousands of long-suffering residents before moving across the remaining senatorial districts. I have personally watched the videos of these patients. I listened to their emotional testimonies and their deep appreciation to the government.
In fact, I have taken it upon myself to produce a special documentary through our news platform as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility.
Nigerians need to see how Ondo is actively saving lives and restoring hope to hopeless citizens who thought they would die from life-threatening diseases simply because they couldn’t afford surgery.
The citizens care about healthcare, not the political bitterness of defeated aspirants. Any criticism borne out of failed personal demands from the Governor is a distraction from the general needs of Ondo State citizens. If you are blind to the fact that the Aiyedatiwa government is restoring health, rehabilitating hospitals, and completing landmark road projects, then you are completely beside yourself and deserve to be ignored!
If your criticism of the Governor is not based on a failure of responsibility to the citizens, but rather on your own missed tickets, then no one should take you seriously. A government’s duty is to serve the public good, not to fulfill the private appetites of career politicians. When these individuals attack the Governor simply because they lost a ticket, they reveal their true motives: they are not fighting for the people; they are fighting for their own bellies.
The difference between Governor Aiyedatiwa and his critics is clear: while they provide noise, he provides development. Go to the HMB health platform right now and see the massive, ongoing hospital renovations. Look at the near-completion of critical community roads like the Akure–Imafon and Aboto–Atijere axis. Governance is measured by visible impact on the masses, not by emotional rants from people who lost a primary contest.
Ondo State is moving forward! My Appeal to the Aggrieved is this: All the aggrieved aspirants and politicians are completely free to cry us a river, but they should just make sure their tears do not wash away the Aboto–Atijere road project. Ondo people prefer development over post-primary tantrums. While we allow this “Festival of Tears” by aggrieved politicians to trend on social media, the Aiyedatiwa Festival of Surgeries by the HMB must continue. The Governor should pay even more attention to it.
Let Mr “Mabaja” keep fixing our hospitals while the critics focus on fixing their broken egos! To be honest, nobody gives a damn if these politicians are worried about missing tickets. Ondo people are worried about getting new roads, and that is what matters.
The road to recovery for these aggrieved APC aspirants is still very long. As Abuja prepares to release the final list of candidates, the citizens should expect even more broken hearts from these politicians.
But luckily, we can thank the HMB in advance for establishing an Emergency Unit for Broken Hearts to cater to them! 💔
Ondo is working. Let the Governor work! 🔥
