Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has re-appointed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), with the appointment taking immediate effect.
The re-appointment was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Tuesday.
The statement read: “The Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the re-appointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG). The appointment takes immediate effect.”
Dr. Fasoranti served as the state’s SSG until March 30, 2026, when he resigned to contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senate primaries for the Ondo Central Senatorial District.
According to the statement, “Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti brings to the office a wealth of experience in public administration, policy formulation, and governance.”
The governor congratulated the re-appointed SSG and charged him to justify the confidence reposed in him.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulates Dr. Fasoranti on his appointment and charges him to justify the confidence reposed in him by serving the people of Ondo State with dedication, integrity, and commitment to the Our Ease agenda of his administration,” the statement added.
