Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has launched the LuckyLight Renewable Energy Initiative aimed at providing free solar power to small and medium-scale businesses across the state as part of efforts to boost economic growth and support entrepreneurship.
The initiative is designed to reduce the cost of doing business by providing beneficiaries with reliable renewable energy, thereby improving productivity, increasing profitability and enhancing the sustainability of small businesses.
According to the state government, applications have been opened for eligible entrepreneurs and small business owners across the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State.
Interested applicants are expected to register through the programme’s official portal at www.ondea.ng/luckylight.
The government said the initiative underscores Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to strengthening the state’s economy by empowering businesses with sustainable energy solutions.
The LuckyLight Renewable Energy Initiative is expected to provide relief to business owners grappling with high energy costs while promoting economic development and expanding opportunities for entrepreneurs across Ondo State.
The programme is being promoted with the slogan: “Powering Businesses. Powering the Economy. Powering Ondo.”
