2027: Why Okitipupa/Irele Voters Should Elect Me For Reps— ADC’s Omosuyi

In a recent interview with Starnews NG, Engr. Omosuyi Olumide Abayomi, the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency, has passionately articulated his vision and commitment to the people of his constituency. As a proud son of Ode Aye in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State, Starnews NG reports that Omosuyi believes the 2027 general election is the year for change, and he stands ready to deliver that change in his federal constituency.

Speaking in a telephone conversation with Tony Ameh on Thursday, Omosuyi emphasised the necessity for quality representation in the Green Chamber, stating, “We need leaders who can influence policies and bring about meaningful development. I am educated and capable, with connections both locally and internationally, which I will leverage to benefit our constituents.” He believes that the time has come to move beyond mere handouts and empower the people with substantial opportunities.

His vision for Okitipupa/Irele federal constituency is clear, adding that: “I am committed to impacting our federal constituency through quality legislation, advocacy, and empowerment initiatives that create jobs and enhance human resources. We can no longer accept the status quo, where constituents are treated like beggars receiving peanuts. It’s time for real empowerment that uplifts our community.”

Omosuyi also sheds light on the long-standing issue of zoning in the federal constituency. He pointed out that Ode Aye has never produced a member of the House of Representatives, despite the historical marginalisation of the town. “It is our turn in Okitipupa State Constituency II to represent the federal constituency. The current incumbent has done his best, but honestly, his best has not been enough. We see the vast allocations for constituency projects across Nigeria, and we need to catch up,” he asserted.

The candidate highlighted the pressing need for advocacy for meaningful federal institutions to support the development of Okitipupa/Irele, saying: “We cannot continue to lag behind while other constituencies thrive. The electorate deserves more than just cosmetic projects and temporary empowerment initiatives. We must aim for sustainable development,” he insisted.

Omosuyi’s motivation to serve stems from a deep-seated desire to give back to his community. “As a businessman, I have the resources, but being in government will give me the platform to do even more for my people. I am not in this race for monetary gains; I am here to help my constituents become self-sufficient and empowered.

With his commitment to impactful change and a clear vision for the future, Engr. Omosuyi Olumide Abayomi is poised to be the representative that the Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency needs. As the 2027 elections approach, he invites voters to join him in his mission to bring real development and lasting change to the community.

When asked about his special message for his constituents, he said: “Together, let’s make Okitipupa/Irele a model of progress in Nigeria. They should vote for me for a brighter future”.
