In a statement issued by his Media Aide, Victor Adedeji, on Wednesday, Odimayo stated that his decision to seek re-election is driven by a commitment to consolidate ongoing legislative and constituency projects, as well as to further expand developmental strides across the federal constituency.
“My re-election bid is anchored on consolidating my legacy and doing even more for the benefit of the people of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency,” he said.
The lawmaker, who maintained that his political strength lies in grassroots engagement and sustained support from party stakeholders, expressed confidence in his chances at the polls.
“My victory is assured. I have the grassroots and leaders’ support,” Odimayo remarked, urging his supporters and political associates to remain united, hopeful, and committed as the political process progresses.
He further assured constituents that his renewed mandate would focus on continuity, expanded representation, and greater dividends of democracy across communities in the constituency.
