Where is the promise of His coming

Pst Olumide Akinrinlola

“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation (2 Peter 3:3-4)”

This prophecy has been fulfilled. The saying that Jesus is no longer coming has rented the air many decades ago.

Unfortunately, many Christians who are not rooted in the word of God have been misled. They were misled erroneously to believe that the promise of His coming for the second time is not real.

Don’t be unaware of the response you are to give the devil and its agents anytime they want to lure you with this statement.

Please read :

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).”

That Jesus Christ slow down in His coming is to have enough grace to repent and turn away from the world for the salvation of your soul. But despite this grace, many people have refused to repent.

Unfortunately, they are ignorance of the fact that the day they die, judgement will begin immediately. By then, there will be no more grace to repent and accept Christ, It will be too late.

Don’t say you are not aware, if you die today without Christ in you, you will go to hell and the same Jesus Christ you refuse to accept will judge you.

I just told you.. Jesus is on His way. Please Repent now!

Say : Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sin. Forgive me. (confess your sin) I accept you today as my Lord and Saviour, come into my life and remain there forever. Amen.
