Six things must not be missing in the life of a believer. They are: the fire of God, the word of God, the power of God, the authority of God, the Love of God, and the Double ‘S’.
The Fire of God
Hebrew 12:29 says Our God is a consuming fire. So if God is a consuming fire and you don’t have such fire, then, you are a child of God that does not have God.
Anyone without the fire of God is empty. A child of God must carry the fire of God. This is because fire devour, fire destroys, fire consumes, fire renews. A child of God without fire does not have God.
The Word of God
John 1:1 says, in the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” So, if the Word of God is God Himself and you don’t have it, you are a child of God without God.

Jeremiah 15:16 says “Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts.”
It was when Jeremiah ate the word of God that he has the word in him. The point here is that you should read your Bible and understand it. The word of God is the weapon you have to fight.
A child of God without the Word of God does not have God.
The Love of God
1st John 4:8 says God is love. It means if this is missing in your life, you don’t simply have God.
The Power of God
Throughout the Bible, the Holy Spirit is spoken of as being the power of God. Many scriptures refer to the Holy Spirit as the power of God.
The book of Luke 4:14 records that Jesus Christ began His ministry “in the power of the Spirit.”
Luke 1:35 identifies the Holy Spirit as the “power of the Highest.”
Act 1:8 says: “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you”.
You should rather pursue power instead of money because when power comes, money will come also.
Without power, it will be difficult to get rich, manage wealths and successes. The devil and its agents are not happy with successful people.
You are a target of evil men if you are successful in life. So, thirst for the power of the Holy Spirit if you want to overcome the evil world.
If you lack power as a child of God, you’re a child of God that does not have God.
Authority of God.
God is the source of all authority. Authority of God in this context is the ability to demonstrate the supernatural power through the unlimited Authority of God such as:
— The Authority in His name (John 14:14), Philippians 2:10,
— The Authority in His blood (Ephesians 1:7), Revelation 12:11.
— Authority of the Faith. This releases God’s power into our circumstances. Mathew 17:20 says And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
A child of God who does not have the authority of God does not have God.
The Double ‘S’
The full meaning of the double ‘S’ in this context means ‘Separation’ and ‘Service’. In the book of 2nd Corinthians 5: 17, the Bible says “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature ; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
So, you are expected as a child of God to separate from your past. For example, as a smoker before you born again, you are expected to stop smoking the moment you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. A fornicator who got born again must stop fornicating the moment he or she confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
You are simply not a child of God if you do not repent of your worldly ways. As a new creature in Christ, you are expected to start a new life.
The other ‘S’ in this context means ‘Service’. It means you should serve God genuinely with all your heart. Anyone who parades his or herself as a child of God must serve God. A child of God who does not serve God does not have God.
I just told you the truth..
Please repent now and confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
Say : Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sin. Forgive me. (confess your sin) I accept you today as my Lord and Saviour, come into my life and remain there forever. Amen.
