VP Shettima Promises Action on Economy, Security, and Corruption

Vice President Kashim Shettima has pledged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) government will work towards improving Nigeria’s economy, security, and fight against corruption.

He made the statement during a national conference in Abuja focused on strengthening Nigeria’s democracy.

At the event, Shettima, represented by Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, emphasized that while democracy is not without flaws, it remains the best system of governance.

He acknowledged the government’s responsibility to adjust and improve, ensuring accountability in the face of democratic challenges.

Shettima expressed confidence that Nigeria would overcome its difficulties and lead the way in fostering a brighter future, driven by a strong, democratic society.

The Vice President called for support from Nigerians, stressing the government’s commitment to securing communities, supporting free elections, and enhancing the judiciary’s independence.

He assured that the Bola Tinubu administration is focused on improving Nigeria’s democratic framework for the benefit of future generations.
