Unfriendly Friends –Your Real Enemy

Pst Olumide Akinrinlola

We all see the devil and his agents as our enemies. But the opposite is true.

Our greatest enemies in life are the unfriendly friends we keep. Your and my unfriendly friends are the real enemies.

The Psalmist said: “Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.”( Psalm 41:9)

The most dangerous thing that could happen to a man is to keep his enemies as friends. It is always difficult to shoot an arrow when you don’t know your target.

Unfriendly Friends are people who appear to you as friend but they are really your enemy. They are your target but you don’t know, hence many people have lost the battle.

The battle of unfriendly friends are the most difficult battle to fight. Unfriendly Friends are just like unseen battle.

Many have shifted blames of their problems on God but they never deem it fit to check on the type of friends they keep.

If you can win the battle of unfriendly friends today, then, you have won the real battle of your life.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, you can easily discern the bad friends you keep. (Isaiah 11:2)

You need the Holy Spirit for help. But before then, you must be born again and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. That is the first step.

Say : Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sin. Forgive me. (confess your sin) I accept you today as my Lord and Saviour, come into my life and remain there forever. Amen.
