Tunji-Ojo Resigns Few Hours to Inauguration as Minister

 

 

The Federal Lawmaker representing Akoko Northeast and Northwest Federal Constituency of Ondo State in the House of Representatives, Honourable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has resigned from the green chamber of the National Assemby having accepted his nomination by President Bola Tinubu to serve as a Minister in the Federal Executive Cabinet.

Tunji-Ojo’s resignation was contained in a letter addressed to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, on Friday.

Starnews Nigeria reports that Tunji-Ojo said his resignation was necessitated by his appointment to serve Nigerians as a Minister under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
