Trump Proposes $1.5 Trillion Military Budget in Facebook Post

Toronto, Canada – In a Facebook post on Wednesday evening, President Donald Trump announced his proposal for a significant increase in the U.S. military budget for the year 2027, suggesting it should rise from $1 trillion to $1.5 trillion.

After what he described as “long and difficult negotiations” with Senators, Congressmen, Secretaries, and other political representatives, Starnews NG reports that Trump stated this increase is necessary for the “Good of our Country,” especially during these “troubled and dangerous times.”

He emphasised that the enhanced budget would allow for the construction of a “Dream Military” that would ensure the safety and security of the nation against any potential threats.

Trump attributed the feasibility of the proposal to the substantial revenue generated from tariffs imposed on foreign countries, which he claimed have historically “ripped off” the United States. He stated, “If it weren’t for the tremendous numbers being produced by Tariffs from other Countries… I would stay at the $1 Trillion Dollar number.”

He went on to compare the current financial landscape favourably to the previous administration, asserting that the income generated now was “unthinkable” just a year ago.

The US president asserted that the proposed budget increase would not only contribute to building an unparalleled military force but would also allow the government to pay down debt and provide substantial dividends to moderate-income patriots within the country.

As the political landscape continues to evolve, Trump’s bold proposal underscores his ongoing influence in American politics and his commitment to a robust military agenda.
