Tribunal reserves judgment in PDP, Ighodalo’s petition

The Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has reserved its decision on the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Asue Ighodalo.

They are challenging the outcome of the governorship election held on September 21, 2024.

A three-member panel, led by Justice Wilfred Kpochi, reserved judgment after lawyers involved in the case presented their final arguments on Monday.

The tribunal will announce the judgment date later through its secretary.

The petition questions the election process and results, seeking legal intervention.

Until the tribunal delivers its verdict, both parties will wait to know the final outcome of the dispute.
