It was a black Wednesday at Okitipupa market at about 3:50 pm when a Lorry conveying sand from Okitipupa to Ode Ayeka through the popular hospital road in Okitipupa local government area in Ondo state killed a girl who was trying to cross the road.
According to an eye witness, there were too many motorcycles and vehicles packed along the road which prevented the girl from seeing the oncoming lorry which unfortunately killed her.
Ejulene 93.7 FM gathered that the driver of the lorry has escaped to Okitipupa police command to report himself immediately the accident occurred.
The remains of the girl has been deposited at the morgue of Okitipupa State Specialist Hospital, Starnews can report.
Details about the young girl still remain unknown as at the time of writing this report.
