The Baptist Grammar School in Ode-Aye, Ondo State, is now a death trap for innocent students whose fees are being collected with zero hope of using the levy to facelift the citadel of learning.
The once-adorned academic environment that had produced big guns currently blazing the trail in their respective fields is now on the brink of collapse.
Checks by Starnews NG revealed that the roof of the school is tattered, which ostensibly allows the free flow of rain and unrestrained sunlight into the classrooms.
Aside from the unkempt ambiance, the school has no windows, ceilings, chairs, or tables.
Even as teachers grapple to impact the students, they themselves don’t have chairs and tables to make use of.
Starnews NG is calling on the Ondo State Government, as a matter of urgency, to address the situation in order to avert a national disaster.
The government should be reminded that should the building collapse on the children or the teachers, they would be held responsible for the disaster.
Starnews also urged Governor Aiyedatiwa to swiftly rehabilitate the school, since it is located in his Senatorial District.
