Suspected Cultists Kill Four in Makurdi Beer Parlour Attack

The Benue Police Command has reported the death of four individuals in an attack by suspected cultists at a beer parlour in Makurdi, the state capital.

In a statement on Monday, police spokesperson SP Sewuese Anene confirmed the incident occurred on Sunday night at a beer parlour in Akpehe, Makurdi. The attack also resulted in several people being hospitalized.

“The cult attack in Akpehe has been verified, and an investigation is currently underway,” Anene stated. “Four victims have been confirmed dead, and others are receiving treatment in the hospital.”

She also issued a stern warning to criminals, stating they will face the full force of the law if they continue with their unlawful activities.
