Speed Darlington, Lawyer Split After Jail Release

By Bayero Ade

Nigerian artist Speed Darlington has ended his professional relationship with his lawyer, Stan Alieke, and his law firm, Law Capitol, shortly after his release from jail.

Darlington had spent two months in custody over an altercation involving fellow artist Burna Boy, during which his legal team worked diligently to secure his release.

Announcing the development on social media, Stan Alieke stated, “I & my law firm (Law Capitol) have officially withdrawn from legally representing Mr. Darlington Achakpo PKA Speed Darlington/Akpi and henceforth cease to act as his legal attorneys.”

The sudden termination of their professional relationship has left fans speculating about the reasons behind the decision.
