Skitmaker Zicsaloma Accuses LUTH of Mistreating His Mother Battling Cancer

Nigerian skitmaker Aloma Isaac, popularly known as Zicsaloma, has spoken out against the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for allegedly mistreating his mother, who is suffering from cancer.

In a video posted on Instagram, Zicsaloma shared the painful experience, claiming that his mother, undergoing chemotherapy, was not allowed entry to the hospital despite her critical state.

He explained that his family had rushed his mother from the Island to LUTH on Okin Road, where they were advised to return because that was where she had previously received treatment.

They were told to act quickly or risk losing her.

However, upon arrival at the hospital, security personnel reportedly denied them access, directing them instead to a test center for further examination.

Zicsaloma claimed that after his mother underwent the tests, she was still denied entry.

The hospital’s security allegedly locked her and the family outside, saying they could not admit her until the results were available, which could take up to three hours.

Even after a doctor arrived, Zicsaloma claimed the doctor refused to speak with him and told his sister that he would not examine the patient until the test results were ready.

Frustrated and heartbroken, Zicsaloma condemned the lack of care from the hospital staff.

He said his mother, who was extremely weak and frail, was treated without compassion and left outside in her vulnerable condition.

He called for an investigation into LUTH’s practices, stressing that his experience was a reflection of broader issues in Nigeria’s healthcare system, which he believes urgently needs reform.
