Shettima Urges Armed Forces to Adopt Proactive Measures Against Regional Threats

Vice President Kashim Shettima has called on the Nigerian Armed Forces to remain vigilant and adopt proactive strategies to address regional security threats.

Speaking at the Graduation Ceremony of Course 32 at the Nigerian Defence College in Abuja, where he represented President Bola Tinubu, Shettima reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to making Nigeria secure for investment and economic growth.

He stressed the importance of strategic leadership in tackling the country’s numerous security challenges. The course saw the participation of 111 officers, including 19 from foreign nations.

Addressing the graduates, Shettima urged them to uphold the values of patriotism in their future endeavors.

The Vice President also assured that the federal government would carefully review and consider implementing key recommendations from the participants’ final report.

Additionally, he promised to complete the ongoing construction of the National Defence College’s permanent site.
