Do you have a “vision” for something? Senator Nicholas Tofowomo’s four pillars of vision may help you.
Look at the above profile picture of this article, it is Senator Nicholas Tofowomo’s manifesto as a Senatorial Aspirant under the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in 2003. No be today! He is a man who engraved a vision of becoming Ondo South Senator in his heart since 2003 and he pursued this vision to accomplishment in 2019.
He contested many times and failed. But he never allows the vision to die. He aspired again and tried his luck in 2019 and God gave him victory. Today, he is the current Senator representing the good people of Ondo South at the 9th Assembly.
Senator Tofowomo succeeded after making several attempts based on the determination of what he envisioned. He couldn’t have become a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria today if he wasn’t determined to pursue his vision to accomplishment.
Senator Tofowomo is like the biblical Elisha in 2nd kings 2:1-14.
Elisha got the double portions of Elijah by taking a step with full determination and unwavering faith to succeed Elijah. He pursued his vision by following Elijah everywhere he goes. His case was like the snail and its shell that cannot be separated. Despite Elijah’s plans on Elisha to prevail on him not to follow him everywhere, Elisha refused to obey. In the end, his vision and mission were accomplished.
Everyone losing focus of his vision should learn from Sen. Nicholas Tofowomo who manifested the four pillars of vision (taking steps, having faith, having patience, and having the determination to succeed.
Otunba Olubukola Nicholas Tofowomo realised his vision by thinking it up, feeling it in, and acting it out. For the dreamers, Senator Tofowomo’s four pillars of realising vision will drive your action in achieving the result.
