Senator Tofowomo writes aggrieved communities in Ondo South

  • Apologises to aggrieved residents, leaders of his Senatorial District
  • Promises to make amends

Distinguished Senator Nicholas Tofowomo, the Lawmaker representing Ondo South at the National Assembly, has promised to do his best in 2022 by accommodating more communities across the six local governments of Ondo South in his project and reach out to more citizens of his Senatorial District in areas of employment and empowerment.

In a statement on Wednesday by Akinrinlola Olumide, his Media Aide, the Ondo South Senator begged the people to be patient with him especially some aggrieved leaders and members of his party, PDP, and by extension some aggrieved communities who have not benefited from his projects.

While promising a better 2022, he apologised to all the people of his Senatorial District that are sufficiently aggrieved with him for a reason or the other.

The full statement reads:

“Compliment of the season to the good people of Ondo South.”

“I thank everyone for the opportunity given to me in serving my people at the 9th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I extend my appreciation to all the members and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for allowing me to serve my people on the platform of the party. I would be ungrateful if I do not acknowledge the cooperation and the love my people have for me across all the political lines in Ondo South Senatorial District.”

“In the past two years, even though I experienced some setbacks as a result of the accident that took me out of the Senate for nine months, I have devoted my time to the needs of my people and the need to get desired results. I have been able to do a lot of things in giving back to my constituents and the Senatorial District at large.”

“This is not the right time to give an account of my stewardship but the purpose of this statement is to beg my people to be patient with me especially some aggrieved leaders and members of our party and by extension some aggrieved communities who have not benefited from any of my projects.”

“While I admit that I can not satisfy everyone and every community at a time, I would do my best to accommodate more communities across the six local governments in my 2022 project and I would reach out to more citizens of Ondo South in the areas of employment and empowerment.”

“2021 has come and gone. In 2022, I would make amends and correct a lot of mistakes while pacifying the aggrieved.”

“For those, I have wronged, I say sorry and for those that were wronged by my aides and supporters, I also say sorry. 2022 would be better.”

“On the age-long darkness in Ondo South, my people will hear from me soon in a new dimension. Let’s keep hope alive and put our trust in God.”

“Once again, I say compliment of the season to everyone in Ondo South,” the statement added.
