Sen Nicholas Tofowomo is not God!

By Akinrinlola Olumide

Sen Nicholas Tofowomo cannot satisfy everyone at a time and he is not God who can take care of everyone in the Senatorial District. We never had it this good in the history of Ondo South Senatorial District of Ondo State.

There is no how thousands of people in Ondo South can benefit from his empowerment or slot of employment. That is why he is putting up infrastructures in some communities and at the same time proposing institutions across the six LGs through legislative establishment bills for the collective interests of the people.

Some of these bills have passed through public hearings and succeeded. Only for them to be presented by the affected Senate Committee for the third reading/passage.

Aside from this, it is obvious to the blind and audible to the deaf that Sen Tofowomo always raises his hands at the Senate to speak for the collective interests of Nigerians and the good people of Ondo South, ditto the sea incursion in Ayetoro community of Ilaje Local Government and the blackouts in Ondo South with resultant progress following the Federal Government intervention.

We should know that we cannot always get everything we want in life, as well as thousands of people across the globe, can not always be with the ones they love.

This is why we must always think about the collective interests of the people anytime we are angry over those personal benefits we do not get from our representatives.

Politics is not business. Politics and Business don’t mix and we can’t mix them.

After all, Senator Tofowomo is not the only elected Lawmaker. We have many elected State and Federal LAWMAKERS in Ondo South Senatorial District who are also obligated to give back to the people of Ondo South.

For the collective interests of Ondo South, let’s encourage Senator Tofowomo, a man that is passionate about Ondo South and is committed to service.
