Rivers Fire Service Extinguish Flyover Tanker Explosion In Port Harcourt

The Rivers State Fire Service has put out the fire from an exploded gas tanker that exploded on the Port Harcourt Obiri-Ikwerre flyover, in the early hours of today.

While speaking with newsmen on the fire outbreak, Some drivers plying the Rumuokoro-Rumuosi axis said the explosion which affected about four vehicles also scared a lot of people in the area.

Our Correspondent gathered that the explosion truncated vehicle movement for more than four hours while security agencies were at the scene to ensure safety.
