Restructure Nigeria and stop doing what Buhari did, Chekwas Okorie tells Tinubu

By Bada Abraham

Chief Chekwas Okorie, the founding National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and a chieftain of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has called on the need to restructure Nigeria.

Speaking during an exclusive interview with New Telegraph Newspaper, Okorie said President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed appears to be repeating what Buhari did during his time.

He said the benefits of restructuring the country cannot be overemphasized. According to him, some Northerners believe that Tinubu is now favoring the South west region. He said they were not complaining about being marginalized during Buhari’s tenure.

According to him, things like that will not happen if the country is restructured.

Hear him “And now, it seems that Tinubu has copied Buhari although with some improvement. What he has done is not exactly what Buhari did but some northerners believe that what we have now is Federal Republic of Oduduwa, which is a very uncharitable statement.” New Telegraph Newspaper quoted Okorie as saying.
