RCCG pastor flaunts dancing abilities, steals the show during Thanksgiving service

The Choristers began with the song, “Thank You for fighting my battle for me, Jehovah Olugbeja (my Defender)”. They ministered this song powerfully to user him the Pastor who continued in the mood of praise and worship to glorify God before he delivered his message to the church.

It was a Thanksgiving Sunday Service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Strong Tower Parish, Etobicoke Area of Toronto in Canada.

No wonder the Chorus was louder, the church auditorium was charged and filled with the glory of God with some members speaking in tongue (heavenly language) as other members of the church were dancing, and leaping in awe to thank God for the grace to witness the month of June, christened as the Month of Elevation.

Using Jeremiah 30 vs 19, and 2nd Chronicle 20 vs 20 as his Bible Text, the Pastor in charge of the Parish, Pastor Oluwaseun Olatubosun, in his sermon, titled, “Understanding The Power Of Praise And Anointing For Enlargement”, said that a destiny will be voided of the presence of God when the act of praising and thanking God are missing, adding, however, that human lives will be opened to attack by the enemy.

Using the story of the life of King David, who was brought into enlargement through Thanksgiving and praise, Starnews NG reports that the Pastor said praise is an asset for every quantified value.

According to him, “Our praise life determines if we will win or lose in life. Opportunity comes looking for you when you are living a life of praise. (Isaiah 22: 22.) King David never sent a resume to the palace when he was made the king of Israel (1 Samuel 16).

“Praise is an asset for every quantified value. Praise is a garment you wear that determines the things that come to you. (Isaiah 61:3)”, he said

The seven blessings of praise according to him are:

1. Praise brings enlargement and increase (Jeremiah 30:19, (Psalm 67:6).

2. God breaks every barrier and creates opportunities when you praise him (Joshua 6:20).

3. We enjoy the supernatural hands of God and become unstoppable (2kings 3:16).

4. Praise empowers us to possess our possession (Joshua 1:1).

5. Praise impacts supernatural strength because whenever you are in praise, you are in God (Habakkuk 3:17).

6. It is a climate changer. Praise can turn around evil to good. (2nd Chronicles 5:13).

7. Praise establishes the presence of God (Act 10:38).

After the sermon, the pastor conducted the anointing service and the church entered into a-30 minute praise and worship led by the choirs with a performance that received a thundering ovation by the pastor’s song of praise with a dancing skill that arrested the attention of church members, especially when he was dancing and rolling on the floor in enthusiastic show of appreciation to God Almighty.

The service was brought to end with the cutting of the cake by birthday celebrants and couples who have their wedding anniversary in June.

Closing Prayers were offered after the first time visitors were recognised, Starnews NG reports.
