Protest Rocks Lagos Over Economic Hardship

The human rights group known as the “Take It Back Movement” have taken to the streets of Lagos State to protest the escalating prices of food and the exorbitant cost of living in Nigeria.

Despite the warning from Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, the protesters bravely gathered at Ojuelegba under the bridge, wielding placards with various inscriptions to voice their concerns about the prevailing economic hardships nationwide.

Tomorrow, the Nigeria Labour Congress will hit the streets to protest high cost of living and inflation, ignoring calls from different quarters to shelve the protest.
