Portable Declared Wanted for Attacking Ogun Officials

The Ogun State Police Command has declared singer Habeeb Olalomi, known as Portable, wanted for allegedly attacking government officials while they were on duty.

The incident happened on February 5, 2025, around 10:00 a.m. at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota.

Three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development were enforcing regulations when they arrived at Odogwu Bar, a property linked to Portable.

They met an elderly man, later identified as the singer’s father, who informed them that his son was not around.

Shortly after, Portable arrived with a group of nine men, carrying weapons, and attacked the officials.

The victims sustained injuries but managed to escape and report the matter to the police.

Nine suspects were arrested, but Portable fled and has remained in hiding.

Despite multiple invitations from the police, he failed to appear or send legal representation.

A court order has now been issued, declaring him wanted.

The police have urged the public to provide information on his whereabouts, warning that anyone found harboring him will face legal action.

Meanwhile, two weeks ago, nine of Portable’s associates were arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta.

They were accused of assaulting officials from the ministry, obstructing their duties, and carrying weapons.

They pleaded not guilty and were granted bail at N5 million each, with the case adjourned to March 17, 2025.
