In a shocking turn of events, popular Nollywood actress Mimi Orjiekwe has been apprehended and detained by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) at Ikoyi, Lagos. Reports have surfaced claiming that the actress is being investigated for her involvement in a fraud case amounting to a staggering sum of N700 million naira.
The arrest came after a prominent billionaire businessman, Mr. Micheal Diongoli, filed a petition with the Ikoyi law enforcement police department, urging them to locate and apprehend Orjiekwe. The petition alleged that the actress had failed to fulfill her contractual obligations regarding an interior decoration project that Diongoli had assigned to her.
Efforts to reach out to Mimi Orjiekwe for comment on the matter have proven unsuccessful as of press time. The actress remains unreachable, leaving the public and her fans anxious for more information about the allegations leveled against her.
