Popular Nollywood Actor Attacks Davido Over Controversial Music Video

 

Popular Nollywood actor, Ali Nuhu, has berated Nigerian singer, Davido, over the controversial new music video of his signee, Logos Olori.

Davido posted the music video of his new artist, Logos Olori, on his Twitter page on Friday morning.

The video, as seen by this publication, showed some people dressed in white clothes praying the way the Muslims do before launching into dancing as they recited some Quranic verses and prayed.

Davido’s signee, on his part, copied the Muslim style of praying while sitting on the roof of the building.

However, the video generated controversy online, as some netizens accused Davido of disrespecting Islamic beliefs and practices.

Taking to his Instagram page, Ali expressed displeasure over the music video, saying it is unacceptable to Islam.

According to him, entertainers should learn to respect other people’s religions, cultures, and traditions in the quest to be creative in their various fields.

The talented thespian urged Davido to pull down the music video and apologize for hurting the entire Muslim ummah.

He wrote: “I just came across the controversial video posted @davido as much we want to be creative in our various fields, we should learn to respect other people’s religion, culture, and tradition.

“This is totally unacceptable in Islam. You should pull down that video and apologize for hurting the entire Muslim Ummah”
